MONOC, The Monmouth Ocean Hospital Service Corporation, is a non-profit company comprised of nineteen acute care hospitals located in Monmouth, Ocean, Atlantic, Bergen, Cape May, Hudson, Essex and Union Counties, New Jersey. Together this shared services consortium acts as a health care co-operative for these acute care hospitals and the over 4.3 million residents that they serve living in more than 2,500 square miles along New Jersey's northern, central and southern shore.  It includes hospitals from four of New Jersey's premier integrated health care delivery networks; Meridian Health System, Robert Wood Johnson Health Network, the Saint Barnabas Health System and the Atlantic Health Care System.

Hi Everyone!!!   This is an annoucement!!
 
I have scheduled classes for EMS credits for any volunteer EMTs or paid EMTs through MONOC.  The first series will be as follows:
 
ICS 200 
Tuesday nites beginning second Tuesday in March
7pm to 11 pm
Beach Haven First Aid Squad at Ship Bottom Building

Thursday nites for 6 weeks beginning second Tuesday in March
7 pm - 11 pm

For Both classes, bring pen and paper.  Refreshments will be served
 
Also, we are having HAZMAT AWARENESS classes.

SURF CITY FIREHOUSE - CEU COURSES

EMT refresher Course.  Oct. 17, 18, 20, 2008

NOTE:  All courses, with the exception of the Core Recertification Course, are given by ETC (Emergency Training and Consulting.) The Core Recertification will be given by two EMT instructors who are summer members of the Surf City Squad.  RSVP Jack Casella at JackandDoris@comcast.net or Judi Hartney at 609-494-4352 or pjh4@comcast.net  to register for these classes.  Eligibility training forms must be requested of the Squad Captain prior to attendance.   Eligibility training forms will be provided only for those members who retain active status with the squad, as defined in the squad's by-laws.
